The area to be covered is called “Lot 1 – Fucecchio Alta” and a series of interventions are planned on it, although they will be distinct, but will have a unitary and homogeneous character allowing the perception of the complex of open spaces as a unicum.
Although the focus has been on an identified area, the ultimate aim will be to see this intervention as an opportunity to start a development process which, starting from this project, can be extended in successive steps over all possible urban planning.
The intention is to respond to the heterogeneous character that today characterizes the complex of buildings that make up the historic center, in the area of project proposals and interventions, as desired by the Administration, that allow a more unified perception of the urban environment, with a view to increase pedestrian areas and solve the problems related to the need for parking spaces.
