The project is located in a building dating back to the early 20th century in the Santo Spirito area of Florence. It is an intimate flat, created in an attic, located on the top floor and organised in a single room. There are two ingredients that have fueled the entire project: light and gaze; components that have led the entire appartment to be characterised as a telescope towards the key points of the city and as a container wrapped in walls touched by light. In fact, thanks to the presence of overlooks on each side of the living space, it is possible to fully enjoy natural light and guarantee a 360-degree view on the entire Florentine panorama.
To complete this domestic home, a terrace transposes the interior space to the exterior, recreating – among the city roofs that characterise the city of Florence – an intimate and welcoming dimension.
