The architectural organisation of the new Stella Maris project comes from the synthesis of the “triangle” – as the generating element of the hospital system, in order to optimise its functioning – and the concept of the “tent” as the container of a “group home”. The shape with three arms makes it possible to optimise internal distribution through a central sorting nucleus and to give the hospital system a lengthened, non-impactful shape. A “non-static” architecture – but dynamic in its form and external finishes – such as the glass that linearly surrounds the lengthened bodies and the “eyelids” of white KRION.
