The style of an interior is an expression of the time and society in which it finds place. The Venetian 18th century is a time of changes and sudden evolutions of society and Venetian fashion is an European reference point, representing the transformations from which it takes inspiration, with its colours, fabrics and lace. The interior is not simply a space of physical transition, but also a mental one: a premonition of what lies beyond the walled threshold. The two rooms are apparently different because of the presence/absence of a view of the Venetian scene: the project wanted to discover and reinterpret colours, textures, proportions and atmospheres, without necessarily linking them directly to the outside. The concept of a view has been expanded by hinting at the Venetian identity also inside, by means of fabrics that recall Venetian textures through a process of veiling of the image, the use of colours, Murano objects with a contemporary design and warm reflections, the use of light to define microcosms, and a material/semantic contrast.
