At the heart of the collection is an innovative concept based on flexibility and continuous evolution. The meaning of a furnishing component lies in the desire to consider it a variable and dynamic element in everyday use. In fact, the Latin word reverso means “to overturn”, already declaring a dynamic effect of the furnishing element. The collection – consisting of a table and a bookcase – allows the user to choose the most suitable use. The flexibility of use of these complements is also found in the materials, demonstrating the important role of the user as an active subject in the aesthetic definition: painted steel, chromed steel, ceramic, wood, mirror. By rotating the table along its axis, it can be used as a support surface or as a mirror. The Reverso Table has an opaque surface which, together with its mirror counterpart, gives dynamism to the apparently static object. The Reverso Bookcase is composed of fixed and dynamic elements that allow various compositions of the bookcase by combining contrasting materials.
